Job Description
- Conduct research and studies on climate change mitigation initiatives involving emissions reduction in stationary energy, transport, and waste sectors
- Assess and review proposals and recommend appropriate actions
- Assist in the implementation of low carbon initiatives such as solar energy project, energy efficiency & conservation, sustainable transport programs e.g. Electric Vehicle Transition.
- Assist in the updating of the City’s Greenhouse Gas Inventory .
- Prepare and submit reports on climate change mitigation
- Draft project briefs, presentations, messages and speeches
- Attend meetings, seminars, workshops, conferences and similar activities
- Perform other functions as may be assigned
